Hosted in collaboration with the Consulate General of Germany in Guangzhou, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, and EURAXESS CHINA, this prestigious gathering will bring together esteemed international researchers, (post)graduate students, multipliers from renowned research institutions and universities, and our distinguished alumni. Together, we will discuss how innovation across disciplines can drive progress toward both environmental sustainability and human well-being.

Prof. Dr. Alexander Böker

Director, Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research; Chair, Polymer Materials & Polymer Technology, University of Potsdam. His research focuses on integration of biological functions into polymer materials and guided self-assembly of colloidal and polymer systems. He has published over 165 peer-reviewed papers and received numerous honors, including the ERC Consolidator GrantEmmy Noether Fellowship and Lichtenberg-Fellowship of the Volkswagen Stiftung.

Dr. Fang Yang

Associate Professor, Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology & Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Yang’s keynote focuses on Single-Component Doped Nanomaterials for Precision Tumor Diagnosis and Therapy. His research explores the controlled fabrication and integrated modulation of multifunctional nano-biomaterials to achieve visual monitoring of therapeutic interventions at the tumor boundary, including a real-time platform for quantitative cytotoxicity analysis. He has authored over 50 SCI-indexed publications and holds 18 patents, including 1 US patent and 1 EU patent.

Mr. Huang Tianqi

General Manager, Mentor Environmental Technology; 2023 Falling Walls Lab Shenzhen winner. Recognized as a High-Level Overseas Talent in Shanghai, Huang holds more than 10 patents. His innovative electrocatalytic advanced oxidation system enables real-time water quality monitoring and pollutant degradation, widely applied in industrial wastewater treatment, aquaculture, and river/lake ecological restoration.
