Veranstaltungsrückblick | DAAD beteiligt sich an der International Graduate Scholarship Fair (IGSF) 2024

Die 16. Internationale Messe für Graduiertenstipendien (IGSF) fand vom 18. bis 26. Oktober 2024 in Peking, Nanjing, Chengdu und Guangzhou statt. Die IGSF wurde vom China Scholarship Council (CSC) organisiert und gemeinsam von der Renmin University of China (RUC), der Southeast University (SEU), der Sichuan University (SU) und der South China University of Technology (SCUT), vier wichtigen Forschungsuniversitäten in China, veranstaltet. Der DAAD nahm an der diesjährigen IGSF in Peking und Nanjing teil.

Am 18. Oktober nahm Frau Lulu Tian, stellvertretende Generalsekretärin des China Scholarship Council (CSC), an der Eröffnungszeremonie teil. Am 19. und 21. Oktober nahmen die DAAD-Repräsentanzen aus Peking und Shanghai an den Veranstaltungen teil und boten verschiedene Dienstleistungen wie persönliche Beratung und Informationsvorträge an. Den DAAD-Stand besuchten etwa 500 Studierende, von denen etwa 200 eine persönliche Beratung erhielten, wobei sich ihre Fragen hauptsächlich auf das Bewerbungsverfahren für ein deutsches Promotionsstudium und das DAAD-Stipendienprogramm konzentrierten.

An der Veranstaltung nahmen mehr als 130 Professoren und Zulassungsbeauftragte von 47 ausländischen Hochschulen/Institutionen aus 13 Ländern sowie Vertreter von 11 Botschaften und Konsulaten in China teil. Neben der persönlichen Studienberatung und speziellen Vorträgen einiger ausländischer Hochschulen wurde auch ein interinstitutioneller Austausch angeboten. Das Seminar zog mehr als 5 500 Studierende an und bot wertvolle Informationsquellen und Austauschmöglichkeiten für chinesische Studierende, die an einem weiteren Auslandsstudium interessiert sind.
